CarOBDCodes is an independent reference directory for OBD-II diagnostic trouble codes. Its purpose is to help you find a definition and understand what still needs to be verified for a specific vehicle.

Data and editorial standards

The initial directory was imported from a supplied code list. Imported records are labelled as legacy reference entries until their sources and applicability have been reviewed. We do not claim manufacturer endorsement or universal coverage.

Reviewed entries and guides show source links, the actual reviewer and the date of the latest edit. AI may help prepare a draft from editor-provided notes, but it cannot publish directly. Drafts remain private until an editor checks their sources and content.
